Miranda Visits

Lucky me, I had a few friends come over for a visit today and one of them was Miranda.
She was sitting on the table eating Lucky Charms and playing with the candle.

Then she decided to take a little break, lay on the table and get a back rub.
Oh, how I love this little girl.

Tonight Andrew joined us for dinner and a relaxing evening.
I got my camera out so I could get new pictures of Tayler and her latest haircut. Cute curls.

Kylee is Riding Again

Saturday I took Kylee up to June's for her first riding lesson in six months.
We didn't know how it would go. Hannah hasn't been "out" for awhile.
But it all went great. Kylee is an amazing rider and is so much fun to watch. She makes it look so easy.

Pictures With Santa

Festival of Trees Family Day was this weekend.
I got to take pictures of all the children that came to visit with Santa.
I just loved this little guy. Look how he sat on Santa's lap.
He was really sweet and look how he is looking at Santa.
I am very lucky to have so many wonderful helpers.
These kids are able to greet people, take money, hand out candy canes, lift children up and down, print pictures, and get all the pictures to all the right people. Thank you helpers. I couldn't do it without you.
June organizes this event every year and does a wonderful job with it.
And now for the winning picture of this year....
Miranda was telling me all about Santa until it was time to sit with him.
Then she didn't like him. Don't worry, she was done crying as soon as she left his lap.
Speaking of crying....last year this little boy really cried. And this year he started to...
but then realized it was okay to talk to Santa.
A few more cute moments.

Festival of Lights

Thanksgiving is over and we're bringing in Christmas.
This is the carriage that Vickie drives each weekend, bringing passengers through the Fairgrounds which is lit up with millions of lights.
June and Steve always along to help and add to the fun.

Lindsay and Tom (from yesterday) with Miranda. Miranda waved to all the people that were watching the parade. Randy and Vickie having fun driving.
Taking us up on the request for a kiss.
Miranda wasn't too interested in meeting Santa but didn't mind him hollering, "Merry Christmas".
Done with the parade through town, now to the Fairgrounds that are all lit up.
June and Vickie making many special memories together.
My favorite part of the festival of lights, Santa's reindeer.
Miranda and her daddy.
Festival of lights begins at 6:00 in Hermiston Friday and Saturday nights until Christmas, I believe. Hop in the carriage, tell my friends "hi", and enjoy the night.

Engagement Pictures

Today I had the privilege of taking pictures of two beautiful people, both inside and out.Lindsay was in my class when she was a second grader and now look at her.

Loved her then and so glad to be a part of her life right now. In love, getting married, and starting on a new adventure in life.

I had a great time with you and wish you both a wonderful life together.
For those of you that don't know, Lindsay is Miranda's sister.

All Wrapped Up

The other night Kylee vandalized her boyfriends car while he was away hunting.
She used toilet paper and plastic wrap to wrap up his car just for fun.

She wrote "Got U" on the hood.
We laughed and had a good time "messing" around together.

Visiting With Friends

The other night I went out with some girlfriends to Raphael's.
When I arrived the evening light was beautiful and lucky for me, I had my camera with me.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful building.

Big Shoes

Miranda came over to try on Kylee's shoes the other day.
Look how big she is getting. 18 months old already.
Then she decided to play the drums.

She LOVES this drum.

Then it was time for a break so she sat on it.
Look at all her hair. Wonderful performance!

Halloween Night

Look who came to our house! A very special trick or treater.
Miranda liked the little pumpkins we had laying around so we tried to keep her still for pictures by tossing pumpkins to her. Look at how happy she is with us.
Brian brought in more little pumpkins and Miranda went right to work putting them here and there. It was sweet because she would give us some too. Oh, how I love little hands.

Oh so many pumpkins.

Brian is showing Miranda where I hid the candy.

Back to the pumpkins. She was actually able to lift the smaller pumpkin here. Sure surprised me.

Now to move all the pumpkins to the coffee table.
Candy break...here mama.
Back to all those pumpkins.

Who is the cutest Trick or Treater in the world???

I had to post this picture so you could see the little curls in back.
Happy Halloween everyone!
