College Visit

Friday we toured the campus of the University of Idaho so Tayler could decide if that is really where she wants to attend college. Doesn't seem that long ago we were walking her to kindergarten. Where does the time go?
This is the "Hello" walk. Long ago a man was disappointed at how the world was moving too fast and people weren't taking time to visit anymore, so he donated money and had them create this "Hello" walk. When you walk through these trees, you are suppose to say "hello" to all those you pass. How fun is this?
We hit the bookstore and the girls had fun choosing sweatshirts.
Tayler loved it here.
So did we.
Brian and Kylee entertained each other along the way with some teasing.
And then there were moments of pure joy. Tayler gave her a sister a hug and said, "Don't you just love it here?" She is so happy to have the big decission made.
It is a beautiful town and college.
Wednesday Kylee had her 8th grade recognition night.
Here she is with Matt, who she goes to dance class with.

Saturday we went to Hermiston to take pictures of Tayler's horse.
She was curious about Tayler and it was cute to see them get together again.
Tayler is not riding any more so we are trying to sale her.
Last month Tayler was a councelor at Outdoor School.
Here she is with one of the other coucelors. She had a great time
even though it rained all week.

A Day Outdoors

We went out and took some pictures the other day trying to get an idea
of what the girls like for their senior pictures. This is Jessie and Tayler.

We had to take cover under a tree when it started to rain.

Jessie wrote this article about the FFA Convention and it made it to the front cover of the High School paper. I love the picture of Jessie and Tayler. I spent last week in Seattle with my mom and dad. My dad had his second round of chemo and then his stem cell transplant on May 1st. Mom and I made this door decoration for the contest they are having at their apartment. It was fun to "craft" again. My mom use to spend the week days with me when I was on bed rest with my pregnancies and we would craft all day long.

I have spent the week in Seattle with mom and dad. This morning dad and I walked to the clinic to have his blood drawn. Then we picked up mom and went down to the waters edge to look at all the boats. It was a nice day and we had fun together.

Miranda Arrives!

Today June and I met at the hospital to help Miranda come into the world.
Everything went just perfect and Miranda arrived on schedule at 7:45 am.

Randy (daddy) holding her after her bath.

Kody (26 years) holding his new baby sister.

Here June is enjoying all Miranda's expressions as she is about 2 hours old.
Holding Kylee's finger.

Vickie had roses for all the women that came to visit today.
Miranda's name and birth date was on the ribbon. Neat idea, huh?

Gotta love these little feet.

Kylee had a long day at school waiting to come visit.
We sent a picture text to a friend in the office and she was
able to share it with Kylee.
Tayler didn't have to work after school either, so she was able to come hold Miranda too.
She was a little nervous about holding her because she seems so small, but once she had her in her arms, they were both very content.

Mule Baby

Wednesday was my friends first day home from work before she has her baby and at lunch time, SURPRISE, her large draft horse had HER baby! Yes, she is a Molly mule. The girls and I met June after work and did a little imprinting.
Vickie was very happy with her and said she is "just what she wanted".
She couldn't believe that her horse beat her though (having a baby).
One more day and Vickie will have Miranda.

This is Vickie's first time to touch her. Baby seems to like being scratched.

Tayler held the Momma while we worked with the baby.

What a neat experience! She seems to be a very gentle and curious baby.
I can 't wait to see what the future brings.

Nails

I forgot to take a picture of Tayler's nails until today.
They looked really nice .
Look at her ring finger for the special dazzling jewel.
