FFA convention at OSU

T went to OSU for a week for the FFA State Convention.

The other day we had Grammie and Papa
over for dinner. Before we ate, we took
some pictures of the girls with their horses.
B got a little silly around T.

It was nice out this weekend so K gave Hannah a bath.

Then we took her to the yard for a quick treat.

Hannah likes the way K treats her.

Huge Draft Horses

Last weekend we went up to June's to help clip Vickie's big draft horses.

Shopping Fun

The girls and I had a great time shopping on my birthday.

We all came home with lots of stuff. This was T's favorite purchase.

As soon as we got home, she ran off to the High School dance.

We took a lunch break in the food court.

Towards the end of the day, I still had a few shops I wanted to go to,
so the girls found this nice bench to rest on.


Before the trip home we ran into Costco for a churro and a berry smoothie.

B was spending the evening at his play. This is his costume.

Haircut

A fun sisterly moment.

TS got her hair cut today. We all really like it.

Tonight was our Pie Social at school. We brought our cake home and had a good time sitting at the table talking.
KS volunteered and worked in the fish pond.

First Bath for Hannah Bear

On Saturday it was 70 degrees out so K finally got to bath Hannah.

Now they are heading into the barn to get dried off. Hannah wanted to smell the towel before getting it on her.

Every horse has to shake after a bath. Look out, K!

Now to wait until she is dry enough to go back to the pasture. We tried giving her hay to eat, but she just wanted to knock it over.

So K took her out to the sunshine to dry.

Hannah is watching the neighbor horses leave for a trail ride.

K is starting to handle Hannah and have fun with her.

Thanksgiving Day

This Thanksgiving was at mom and dad's house.
After dinner some of us had pie. Papa had a little more trouble getting pie this year as KS decided to pick on him. She ate her pie and put the empty plate in his spot and pretended to start in on his piece. You snooze, you loose.
Then she organized Grammie's candy cupboard.
This is T with her new hair color. It is a dark brown with her natural color as highlights.

Hannah Bear

Today Hannah Bear came to our house. She is a 6 year old appalossa. We are going to try her out for a month to see if she and KS like eachother.She lowers her head nice for KS.
Getting a treat. Yum.
She sure seems nice.

Dinner with Grammie & Poppa

KS all ready to go sing at her concert tonight. Poppa putting oil on a cutting board he made. It is fantastically georgous.
KS is cheating! I still have her by an inch when she not on her tippy toes.

She does have Grammie beat though.

Halloween

Dad is attacking K for her trick or treating candy. I dressed up as a firefighter.

Homecoming Night

This is TS and LC all ready to go out to the Homecoming dance. TS dress is almost a dark turquoise (almost navy).
This is her date, RP. They were heading off to have pictures taken and then meeting friends for dinner. Then they will go to the dance. Hopefully they are both having fun. It looked like they were going to enjoy the night.
