On Saturday I took Kylee to her first horse show of the year.
Our good friend June joined us too.
She wants to come back here and play a song on the jukebox next time we come through.
We also stopped off in North Bend to shop for a few minutes and both thought the scenery was beautiful. Funny how Spring and Winter overlap. The flowers and trees are all blooming and on the way home it was snowing????
While dad was receiving his treatment on Thursday, mom, Tayler and I went to Whole Foods for the first time. We all loved it (another tradition). Tayler saw this cute hat and decided it was meant for her.
Mom and Dad love fresh cut flowers, but aren't aloud to have them in the apartment, so we always stop and meander through the flowers at each grocery store. Thank you Seattle for having so many beautiful flowers in each grocery store!
Through out the day we went to visit Dad at the Cancer Center as he was spending the whole day there getting his first round of Chemo. It turned out to be a 14 hour day for them and this is on hour 13. Looking good don't you think?
We came home on Friday so I could take Kylee to her horse show on Saturday. While grocery shopping, mom showed me this new way of making pancakes. Any of you that know Kylee, knows that pancakes are her staple food. I bought her this can of mix and it didn't take her long, before she was trying it out. She is going to have FUN with it.
Kylee and Lucy.
Then I told her to pick out a basket and she smiled, climbed up to the top of the kitchen cabinets and took down this BIG one.
Both the girls got their hair cut today. When Kylee and I got home, she grabbed a pickle and started messing around. She is such a nut. I love her!
Here are the girls with their newest hair styles.

Brian joined us today. He had to wait a day so he could attend his first carnival at his Elementary school. His second grade teacher won the silent auction to through pie in his face. Sure wish I could have pictures of that for you. If anyone shares them, I will be sure to add them to the blog.
This is the view from the Cancer Care Alliance where dad will get most of his treatments.
We had a little accident this weekend! Look at dad's cheek. We were parked in the dark parking garage and dad was looking out the window to make sure we were far enough back and I THOUGHT I was closing MY window, but had HIS window instead...I trapped him. It was awful!!! It really hurt and left a terrible mark. This picture doesn't show it very well. The next morning it was a little better, but it left a line about 4-5 inches long. Needless to say, I will never roll up a window again without double checking and warning everyone.
Tayler and Kylee were good entertainment.
