FFA Sheep Showing

Thursday we went to County Fair and saw this picture of Kylee.

Her Friend took it last Friday and entered it in the fair. She got a

blue ribbon. Isn't it neat how she has the reflection in the mirror?

This is Tayler's first day showing her sheep.

Boating Fun

We went out on the boat a few times this summer and had a blast.

Mark taught us all how to drive. Cheyenne wants to drive a boat

everywhere. She says it is a lot easier than cars.

He finally got tired out and crashed (not literally).

Babysitting Fun

I love summer! We have been so lucky to babysit this precious baby one day a week. I can't believe how fast she changes. Each week she is showing off something new. This is when she was only 6 weeks old and she had discovered her tongue. 7 weeks and looking all over.
Eight weeks and such a flirt. She is so much fun to admire.
I think she looks like her daddy here. Speaking of her daddy. Look at this beautiful stage coach he MADE!

Picking Raspberries

On our way out to the River House this summer,

we stopped by this wagon wheel to take a picture of Tayler. Once we got to there, we found Poppa "in" the raspberries already picking berries.

Friday night I met Jim in the field to pick up

some hay and enjoy the beautiful evening.

County Fair

Kylee competed in County Fair this weekend.

She did very well, winning overall high point.

Often through out our summer the girls would grab an animal and take them all for a walk.
It made for a funny sight. Many neighbors would smile as they went by. Funny thing, they often picked up more animals along the way.

I took the girls out to practice their driving and when we stopped to switch drivers we stopped to take a few pictures. The girls really didn't want to participate so this is what I got.

Washing All Our Pets

We had to give Bobby his first bath today.

Tayler poured the soap on him and he didn't seem to mind.

I think he liked all the attention.

He became very predictable....get him soaked and he would SHAKE to remove the water.

We are babysitting Lucy this week and she was so happy to see a

friend her size she could hardly stand it. So we let her get close

and they both seemed to like eachother.

I think Lucy thought it was funny that someone else was getting a bath,

and then she had HER bath.

Bobby (lamb) got it started for her.
